Kuehlspeed temperature controlled logistics

Kuehlspeed have continued to grow from their roots in European cross border full load refrigerated services and are now expanding with their temperature controlled van services in the UK, with a particular focus on overnight temperature controlled parcel services.

For many years now, they have worked mainly in the Full Load temperature controlled arena, predominately to Germany and the Benelux countries for both their Food and Pharmaceutical customers. With their fleet of dual temperature GPS trailers and trained workforce in International Food Safety and Good Distribution Practice, they have been able to offer, and continue to do so, daily availability in Europe. They then evolved this to dual temperature GPS vans too, offering timely availability from UK to Europe, as and when needed.

Now, from their base in Essex UK, they are focusing that to a local level and working with their own dual temperature GPS van fleet, offering a seamless chilled, frozen or ambient distribution solution for customers with smaller orders, whether it is one box, several crates or small pallets delivered directly to the end user. Kuehlspeed offer a defined overnight service for producers, manufacturers
or foodservice companies looking to deliver directly into retail outlets, restaurants, farm shops, cafes or the like, who require small, regular deliveries, sometimes due to their own storage and capacity concerns. It works very much like a parcel delivery service all the while maintaining the correct temperature for a frozen service (Minus 189c or colder) or chilled {09c to 59c) Set collection days are agreed in advance, the goods then return back to the hub where they are sorted for delivery for the next day or stored in Kuehlspeed’s coldrooms for an agreed later defined delivery day, and then they are loaded out for delivery direct to the end user on a next day or timed service option.

Deliveries and collections are on dual temperature fridge vans working with FlexiTemp refrigeration units to offer temperature ranges from -259c up to +259c, and with Transcan GPS and temperature monitoring equipment to ensure product integrity throughout the coldchain. To ensure either the shipper or the delivery point is kept informed, Kuehlspeed’s IT systems are able to provide ETA for deliveries as well as Electronic PO D’s, seconds after the delivery has been made; either by email, by text or logging into your own account area.

Currently Kuehlspeed’s focus is around their local areas of Essex, Suffolk, London & Hertfordshire, but they are now already covering parts of Cambridgeshire, Kent, Surrey, Bedfordshire and Middlesex too; more to follow soon. So whether it is an economical option for less time sensitive samples, regular smaller deliveries on a day defined service, emergency cover or an option to extend your own delivery coverage, Kuehlspeed now has an option available for you.
