Replacing a printer ribbon cartridge in a TranScan® Rigid
This guide explains how to replace a printer ribbon cartridge and make sure it is installed properly.

How to Replace a Printer Ribbon Cartridge in a TranScan® Cab/Trailer
- Open the cover to enable access to the printer mechanism
- Remove the old ribbon cartridge by pressing the left hand end of the cartridge (marked PUSH)
- Load the new ribbon with the paper feeding between the cartridge and exposed ribbon.
Then replace the printer cover. - Press either of the blue print buttons to operate the printer.
Ensure the cartridge is located correctly and gives a clear print out.

How to Replace a Printer Ribbon Cartridge in a TranScan® Rigid
- To release the tray press the cover, pull out the tray and remove the cover by releasing the lip
- Remove and discard the old ribbon cartridge,
by pressing the right hand end of the cartridge (marked PUSH) - Load the new ribbon with the paper feeding between the cartridge and exposed ribbon
- Replace the cover and close the tray
- Press the blue print button to operate the printer.
Ensure that the cartridge is located correctly and gives a clear print out
